Moonpaw Manor is a story-driven match-3 mobile game set in Istanbul —
a forgotten manor beneath Galata Tower, a wizard cat (Moonpaw), a purple
ghost (Duman), and a caped mouse (Toto).
I built the entire game solo in one month, after two years of learning
game development: art direction, UI/UX, 101 hand-designed levels, code,
music and sound.
Scope note: every one of the 101 levels has its own illustrated story
page — 101 separate pieces of art, not a repeating template.
Art direction notes:
• Purple = magic, gold = reward — the two anchors repeated across every
menu, panel and win screen. A consistent palette is the cheapest way
to make a game feel finished.
• One key art as the single source of truth: every asset was checked
against it for palette, lighting and rendering style.
• Istanbul everywhere — Galata Tower, Bosphorus ferries, seagulls.
Process: assets were generated with AI tools, art-directed against the
fixed key art + palette, then hand-finished in Photoshop and integrated
in Unity. Tagged per ArtStation's AI content policy.
